A travel guide to Laufen
How to get here?
By Train
- The railway Munich – Rosenheim – Salzburg
You have to change trains in Freilassing (train to Mühldorf/Landshut).
The first stop is Laufen.
Or - The railway Munich – Mühldorf – Freilassing
You have to change trains in Mühldorf.
Laufen is the last stop before Freilassing.
You’ will have to walk five minutes to our administration building and about 20 minutes to the ANL’s Education Center (Kapuziner Hof). - Salzburg Main Station
Regional trains (Lokalbahn-Verbindung) from Salzburg Hbf (Main Station) to
Oberndorf/ Laufen run every 30 minutes.
You will have to walk about 10 minutes to the ANL’s Education Center (Kapuzinerhof) and
about 30 minutes to our administration building.
By Car
- Highway A8 and B-Road B20
Laufen can be accessed via the Federal Highway A8 from Munich to Salzburg,
exit “Bad Reichenhall, and then follow the road B20 toward Passau.
From the exit it will take about 20 minutes to get to Laufen. - B-Road B20
It‘s also possible to get here using the B20 from Passau – Burghausen – Freilassing.
You will pass Laufen on the right while following the road.
By Airplane
- Munich Airport (MUC)
The Munich Airport is located about 170 km northwest of Laufen.
From there, you can use the trains as mentioned above. - Salzburg Airport (SZG)
Salzburg Airport is only about 20 km away from Laufen.
